The La Crosse Fitness Festival was launched in January of 2008, with the goal of creating an annual festival that will celebrate the commitment of La Crosse and surrounding communities to become America's healthiest city. Since the creation, additional events have been added to create what is now refered to as the Festival Foods Grandad Half Marathon.
Partners in this endeavor include the City of La Crosse, Festival Foods, and Ho-Chunk Nation, in addition to many other sponsors.
The fifth annual event will be held May 3-5, 2013.

The range of evnets include: Festival Foods Grandad Half Mrathon, Three Rivers 5K Run/Walk, Coulee Region Bike Tours, and free Riverside Youth Races. Also included in the event weekend is are three events which make up with La Crosse Omnium: Cycling Time Trial, Cycling Criterium, and the Cycling Road Race.
